R-32 is a refrigerant that has several advantages over traditional refrigerants:

Higher energy efficiency: R-32 has a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than other refrigerants, which means that it can transfer heat more efficiently. This results in a lower energy consumption and lower operating costs for air conditioners and heat pumps using R-32.
Lower environmental impact: R-32 has a GWP of 675, compared to around 1430 for R-410A, which is commonly used in air conditioners. This means that R-32 has a much lower impact on the environment in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
Improved safety: R-32 is a "mildly flammable" refrigerant, which means that it is less likely to ignite or explode if it comes into contact with a flame or spark. This makes it safer to use than other refrigerants.
Higher thermal stability: R-32 has a lower pressure than most other refrigerants, which makes it more resistant to thermal stress. This results in longer lifespan for the compressor and higher reliability of the system using R-32.
